Our Background

Vectis Equestrian Club was established in the early 1980s with a major focus on Dressage.  Over the years we have branched out into lots of different equine disciplines and encourage our members to try something new at our local events. We hold many activities throughout the year to cater for all levels of rider and horse on the Isle of Wight.  Members that attend our local events have the chance to compete at Area level, as part of Team Vectis or an individual.  ​

We welcome Juniors and look forward to seeing them progress and enjoying being part of the club. ​Our club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs (BRC) and comes under Area 17.  We send teams and individual riders to Area Qualifier competitions in dressage, dressage to music, show jumping, arena eventing and horse trials - often with great success and a lot of fun.    The club has been represented at National Championship level and we look forward to supporting our teams and individuals again in 2025!
